BREEDING UPDATE

What better way to welcome the holiday season and close the year than with some exciting news? A new update is on its way to Dragon City!

We’re introducing some important improvements to our Breeding system–let’s get into the details!

NEW: SOULMATE PAIRINGS

Did you know that even dragons have a soulmate? ☺️

From now on, you can pair Soulmate dragons to obtain unique offspring that cannot be found via regular breeding–thanks to Soulmate pairings, 200+ more dragons are now breedable!

When two Soulmate dragons are paired in the Breeding Cave, a new Heart icon with a “Unique” banner appears, informing you which exclusive dragon egg this pair is breeding for you.

Additionally, it shows other possible breeding results from this Soulmate pairing with information on their Rarity, and whether you already own them or not.

LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

Attention, Dragon Masters: Some Soulmate pairs must meet certain level requirements to breed their unique offspring (e.g. each parent should have reached at least level 30).

If that’s the case, the icon of the offspring egg in the “parents selection” screen will be grayed out and a “locked” badge will appear on the offspring box.

BREEDING INFORMATION IMPROVEMENTS

Additionally, we’ve made some important improvements to general Breeding information: Simply tap on a dragon’s portrait to learn about its sources (e.g. Shop, Breeding, Rescue, etc), and find a specific Breeding button for all breedable dragons.

If more than two obtention methods are available, we’ll show you the best two according to a system of priorities. This system will be further improved in the upcoming months!
